The year 2021 started with similar difficulties for art and culture professionals as 2020 ended, and regular exhibitions with openings have once again receded into distance. Nevertheless, stagnation is not an option for the three operators of the Jan Arnold Gallery. It is therefore a perfect coincidence that they themselves are active artists and this joint exhibition will once again reveal the character of a producer’s gallery, which has been an essential part of the concept since the beginning. The concept is reflecting the diverse programming through the different styles of Grabenwöger, Rudolf and Schager.

Living Studio – Creative Process 2018

‚Living Studio – Creative Process‘ is a project by Jan Arnold Gallery
The studio changes its venue into a new environment. As part of the art project living studio, frei_raum Quartier21 exhibition space was transformed into over a dozen workplaces for artists. The artists worked on their projects on site and for the visitors to see and experience. Visitors were given an insight into the different creative processes that normally remain hidden.
The produced works were presented in a joint exhibition after two weeks working in front of the public audience.

Daan Lievense and Joseph Rudolf are playing with spaces, rooms and shapes. Mature concepts combined with experimental childishness in the sandpit of contemporary art.
